Legendary hedge fund manager, Julian Robertson, appeared on CNBC yesterday with Maria Bartiromo to discuss his views on the markets. He sees strength in the Norwegian currency, the Krone, while he is avoiding and shorting weaker currencies like the Hungarian Forint. In the U.S. he is very bullish on large technology companies, specifically Apple (AAPL) and Google (GOOG). Mr. Robertson is also very bullish on long-term Tiger holdings Visa (V), a Fallen Angel selection, and Mastercard (MA).

Recession discussions increased greatly with yesterday’s big drop in the Philly Fed Business Outlook survey. Leon Cooperman of Omega Advisors appeared on CNBC yesterday to discuss why he isn’t talking about a recession and why he is still positive on the U.S. economy.
