Boston Federal Reserve President Eric Rosengren was interviewed by CNBC this afternoon. With weaker than expected economic data hitting the wires over the last few weeks, investors are beginning to look for signs from the Fed that there may be another stimulus (QE3? ) in the works. Quantitative Easing Part Deux has been predicated on levels of inflation too-low for the U.S. Federal Reserve’s liking. However, looking at the recent Velocity of Money chart from the St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank the U.S. Federal Reserve might get more inflation than they hoped for.
