The second economic report out today is the U.S. Census Bureau’s October 2010 full report on manufacturers’ shipments, inventories, and orders. The report itself usually has a muted effect on the markets as most of the information contained in the report is already know. Durable goods orders account for around 45% of all factory orders and the stand alone durable goods report is released much earlier than the full report. It wasn’t much of a surprise that the full report showed some weakness.
